The DNATL Community Food Council is working collaboratively to create a local food system that provides access to healthy, culturally preferred food to all families in Del Norte and Tribal Lands (DNATL).

We acknowledge that the Del Norte County community lives on the unceded ancestral territory of Tolowa Dee-ni Nation, the Yurok Tribe, Elk Valley and Resighini Rancherias.

We honor the critical importance of the land and water to the Indigenous peoples of California today, and that the existence of tribal communities and preservation of traditional Indigenous ways of life depend on secure and permanent land bases and the right of self-determination (ACLU of Northern California).
