Erica Tarens

Operations & Marketing

With a Master’s in Nutrition Sciences and a Bachelor’s in Psychology, Erica is passionate about combining her expertise in both fields to foster holistic health and wellness. She believes that food, lifestyle, and mental health are all intricately connected, and that a balance of these is crucial to living a vibrant, thriving life.

In addition to her educational background, she has gained valuable experience in entrepreneurship by owning a private nutrition practice and yoga business. Through these endeavors, she has become proficient in website development, standard operation procedure (SOP) creation, and social media management. This diverse skill set allows her to approach her role at DNATL CFC with a unique perspective, especially when it comes to the psychology of marketing and strengthening community ties.

She is dedicated to bringing health and wellness insights to her community, especially in rural areas where access to nutritious, local food is often limited. Working with DNATL CFC allows her to go beyond individual support and contribute to creating a stronger, healthier community where people have access to nourishing food that can improve their lives.

Outside of work, you can find Erica exploring the roads less traveled. Whether by finding secret redwood groves, private Smith River swimming holes, or jumping on a plane to explore tiny villages overseas, her main goal in life is to experience new adventures.
