Steering Committee & Community Meetings

Meet Our Steering Committee

We value our community’s voices and collaboration. In 2025, we launched a new Steering Committee to help guide the work of the Community Food Council.

This diverse group provides valuable feedback to DNATL CFC staff, ensuring our programs and initiatives align with the needs of our community. Steering Committee members also act as key connectors, sharing information about CFC programs, projects, events, and workshops within their networks. Their insight helps us better understand and address the diverse needs of Del Norte and Tribal Lands.

Quarterly Community Meetings

In 2025, we introduced Quarterly Community Meetings. These open gatherings are designed for everyone to participate, learn, and get involved with the DNATL CFC.

These meetings will rotate to different towns across Del Norte and Tribal Lands, making it easier for community members in rural areas to attend in person.

Our goal is to create a space where community voices are heard, ideas are shared, and meaningful collaboration takes place to strengthen our local food system.
